On Oplan “Kaluluwa”; PNP proved its mark!

Cagayan de Oro City – In the celebrations of All Saints Day and All Souls Day here police mark it as the most peaceful one amidst some bladed weapons, intoxicating liquors were confiscated and some individuals who had been drinking were also warned and stopped in going to cemeteries.


“Yes we put our men in proper positions to monitor the activities, there were bladed weapons and intoxicating liquors confiscated as the city government has an ordinance banning during the celebrations, and we also warned individuals who had been drunk and ultimately, the celebrations is the most peaceful one” City Director, P/Supt Noel Armilla said.


Meantime, PNP Regional Director, P/CSupt Danny Empedrad has thanked his men all over Northern Mindanao for a job well done.


“We were able to prove our mark in Oplan “Kaluluwa” and this is because the local officials and the people of Northern Mindanao help and assist us to make it peaceful” C/Supt. Empedrad said.


The Philippine National Police together with the Rural Transportation Authority (RTA)of Cagayan de Oro, the Barangay Tanods, and all other government sectors like Health, Red Cross, and even NGO’s give their support in to make the celebration peacefule and successful.
