Ariosa sworn as LP-Zambo Sur gubernatorial bet

By PJTremedal

Pagadian City – Vice Governor Roseller Largo Ariosa formally turn his back from his former political party as his term ends to the Liberal late this week and will run against his former allies, the Cerilles of NPC-Kampi.

After his term as vice governor of the province of Zamboanga del Sur finally decided to run against the Cerilleses for the gubernatorial race this coming May election 2010 with new party mates in the new alliance of Puersa Mindanao, a local political coalition party of the Real and Cerilles boys.

VG Ariosa will end his term with Governor Aurora Enerio Cerilles in the three terms governing the province as vice governor, recently sworn in as the Liberal Party gubernatorial bet of which his old party NPC-Kampi gave their go signal.

Accordingly, NPC-Kampi of the Cerilles has no grounds to hold Ariosa because this is the last term of Ariosa, sometime in the middle of the year, proposals from supporters declared Ariosa to run as a Mayoral bet of Kumalarang or Molave under the NPC-Kampi however, this never materialize for some personal and political reasons.

As he joined the Liberal Party, Ariosa will be running with a choice between former Governor Boyet Vera Cruz and Mayor Domingo Mirrar of Lakewood. Mirrar and Vera Cruz are also former allies of the Cerilles.

In another development, Zamboanga Del Sur Liberal Party will field 26 Mayoral bets against the administration party who as of press time is silent.

Zamboanga Del Sur has 26 municipalities and one city and two congressional districts. It is known also that, the Liberals will field one Atty. Teodoro Quicoy against incumbent NPC-Kampi Congressman Victor Yu of the 1st District of Zamboanga del Sur.
