LP Stalwarts storms Iligan-Cagayan Corridor

Cagayan de Oro City – Liberal Party stalwarts ld by presidential bid Senator Noynoy Aquino together with Bukidnon’s Representative TG Guingona, Muntinlupa’s Ruffy Biazon, Lipad Pinoy Neric Acosta, former Senator Franklin Drillon, and LP Sec-Gen Jun Abaya and volunteers from Iligan and Cagayan de Oro cities welcome the party.


Amidst signal no. 2 from Pag-ASA because of Typhoon Ramil, LPs sent there messages across the corridor. “Ituloy and Laban” as there message against corruption, economic instability, peace for Mindanao and other concern for a new governance come June 2010 a month after Election 2010.


In his statement during an interview with this On-Line publication, Senator Noynoy said that his priorities for Mindanao are job opportunities, education, peace and development for the people of Mindanao.


“Kapayapaan” that’s it, this will be my program of government, and I hope Mindanao will welcome me” He said.


Meanwhile TG Guingona who came from Mindanao said that, we are riding a boat to progress, and Senator Noynoy will be our ship captain, we should help him in making the boat stable and travel on a speedy route to progress.


“Parang Barko, he’s our boat captain for a new governance” Guingona said.


In Iligan City, LP team, except Senator Mar Roxas who had he’s honeymoon with Korina earlier came to Iligan during the city fiesta and again showed the people what LP has to do for a new kind of government.


With the recent LP visit, Senator Noynoy and team group themselves with Iligan officials, City Mayor Lawrence Cruz and Congressman Vicente “Varf” Belmonte of the 1st District with other local party mates raise their hands for the Liberal Party.


As they move to Cagayan de Oro, the day after (October 31) LP Volunteers led by Atty. Sarmen Jardin gather in Grand Caprice to support their heroes and in Xavier University the academe and professionals has also supported the LP team.


“Let’s fly to a new governance” Lipad Pinoy prime mover Neric Acosta said.
