Pagadian Eagles hosts 2nd Western Mindanao Assembly

Pagadian City – The Pagadian City Eagles Club hosts this years 2^nd Western Mindanao Regional Assembly, Western Mindanao Region to cater and enhance development in the tenets of the Eagles way.

Being a bonafide member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles (Philippine Eagles), the first Philippine born fraternal socio-civic organization, The Pagadian City Eagles Club was organized in 2000 with Eagle Rey Quisumbing as its first president.

From thereon the Pagadian City Eagles Club with its vision and mission become a force of brothers supporting every member and its goal for a better society, the club grows into a strong brotherhood of men achieving social and economic reforms thru a full heart of service to each member and the community as well.

With Eagle Romy Villafuerte leading today’s activity on commemoration of the Eagle month, as hosts of the 2^nd Western Mindanao Regional Assembly the will focus to promote camaraderie exchange ideas, plans and programs among the eagles of the city and the member clubs of Western Mindanao Region.

In the said assembly, 13 lucky applicants will be sworn to membership and participates in the program of which includes a LEADs (Leadership) and ORIENTS (Orientation) Seminar in the afternoon.

The seminar will be conducted by PEIL Regional Director Eagle Jun Villarmino, while Philippine Eagles National President Eagle Vicente Avila is expected to grace the assembly.

On the local, Vice Governor Roseller Largo Ariosa who himself an eagle is the guest speaker of the 2^nd Western Mindanao Regional Assembly and again, Honorable Mayor Samuel S. Co another eagle will give his inspirational message not an achieved eagle but the father of Pagadian City, the new seat of regional governance of the Zamboanga Peninsula Region.

Meantime, the 2^nd regional assembly will elect its new national and regional assemblymen for eagle year 2009-2010.
