City Police Hits Drug Runners

Pagadian City – Again, with the campaign against dangerous drugs known as“Shabu” in the city and its runners and dealers, City Police under Police Chief Inspector Mike Palermo had collared more drug street runners and dealers to make a continuing effort to save the children of Pagadian and Zamboanga Del Sur especially in the opening of classes this week.

Last May 21, a joint operation with PDEA and Intelligence Operatives of this station led by PINSP Jerwin San Diego Cagurin – Intel/Opn Officer under the supervision of PCI MICHAEL PINEDA PALERMO – OIC, conducted buy- bust operation at Prk. Kapalaran, Balangasan District, Pagadian City and successfully apprehended one Danilo Salabayon y Tuga , 36 yrs old , single, beautician and a resident of Prk Kapalaran, Balangasan District, this city.

Confiscated from the suspects possession and control were : one (1) color orange disposable lighter ,one (1) aluminum foil, one (1) improvised totter made of aluminum foil and another three (3) pieces lighters, three (3) pieces aluminum foil and eight (8) pieces of empty sachets with residue of suspected Methamphetamine Hydrocloride place in a container color white with blue cover.

On May 27, this week another joint operation with PDEA and Intelligence Operatives of this station led by PINSP Jerwin San Diego Cagurin – Intel/Opn Officer under the supervision of PCI MICHAEL PINEDA PALERMO – OIC, conducted buy bust operation at the vicinity of Teresita’s Cockpit, Brgy. Tiguma, Pagadian City and successfully apprehended one Ronnie Bulanon y Saromenes , 33 yrs old , married, jobless and a resident of Prk Lawis, Sta. Lucia District, this city.

Suspect was caught with four (4) small sizes transparent plastic sachets containing of white crystalline substance believed to be shabu and two (2) pcs of 100 peso bills used as marked money with serial numbers ZC177605 and GU345213.

And in the afternoon of the same day, City Police and PDEA hit again another street runner thru a buy -bust operation at Prk Lawis, Sta. Lucia District, Pagadian City and successfully apprehended one Felix Bargamento y Handugan, 43yrs old, married, jobless and a resident of Prk Lawis, Sta. Lucia District, this city.

Confiscated from his possession was one (1) small size of heat-sealed sachets of white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, four (4) pcs. Aluminum foils, one (1) pc disposable lighter color pink, one (1) pc plastic straw totter and two (2) pcs. 100 peso bills used as marked money with serial numbers JW221266 and RW161377.

Suspects are now temporarily detained at the lock–up cell of this station and an appropriate charges in the violation of RA 9165 is being prepared by the city police to be files at the City Prosecutors Office.
