PNP-PAIDSOTF Strikes Anew

Pagadian City – As the police heightens its alert on the Lenten Season, Local authorities led by the PNP Provincial Directorship and the newly created Provincial Anti Drugs Special Operation Task Force (PAIDSOTF) strike anew to its mission.


A certain Dindo Eslit, 26 years old, a resident of Tadlao, Bagong Silao, Dumalinao, ZDS was apprehended and caught by the operatives of the PAIDSOTF under Police Senior Inspector Rommel Gabriel Etbew in one of the district this city.


The suspect was collared thru a buy bust operations and confiscated from him (Eslit) eight (8) pcs sachet of crystallized substances believed to be “shabu”, three (3) rolled foils of Aluminum, and two(2) lighters used in as paraphernalia’s in sniffing the dangerous drugs.


He is now temporarily locked-up in the Camp Abelon locked-up cell for appropriate filing of charges violating R.A. 9165 or otherwise known as the Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.


Meanwhile, the 905th Provincial Mobile Group under Police Chief Inspector Alikhan Yusop, Group Director has intensified its campaign on drug proliferation in his area of responsibility. Late this week another two (2) suspects in the illegal drug business.


One Usudan Lida y Sultan, 30 years old, a resident of Malabang, Lanao del Sur and one Rico Gallardo Y Pelaje, 36 years old, a resident of Sta Lucia, this city was apprehended and confiscated from them three(3) sachet of suspected shabu, eight(8) aluminum foils, and two(2) lighters as shabu paraphernalia’s. The duo was collared after a buy bust operations conducted by the operatives of the 905th PMG PNP and now charged in the violation of R.A. 9165.


In related development, a Habal-habal driver was caught red handed with the illegal substances as it was noticed in the check point conducted by the 906th PNP Provincial Mobile Group in San Miguel town.


In the police report confirmed that, SPO4 Carlito Tianchon of the 906th PNP PMG under the supervision of Police Chief Inspector Romulo Nicholas Suarez, team leader has initiated a “No travel no policy” check point in San Miguel, when a certain Romeo Cornel Y Gutual, 39 years old, Married, an Habal-habal driver of Margosatubig was flagged down by the police operatives to check on him.


In the conduct of the inspection when the driver was asked on his driver’s license, a plastic package falls from his possession, and when the other police operatives in the checkpoint, PO3 Albert Albios and PO2 Michael Maguindra noticed the package and when they opened it suspected sachets of the illegal drugs were immediately confiscated from the suspects and they brought him in the 906th PNP PMG Headquarters in San Miguel and found out, two(2) sachet of crystallize white substance believed to be shabu pack on a plastic sealed package, One(1) big and one(1) small plastic package containing the said substance.


This prompted the 906th PMG Operatives to bring the suspect to Camp Abelon for proper disposition and filed him charges violating section 11 of R.A. 9165 and violating R.A. 4136. The suspect was driving a black Bajaj/Kawasaki Motorcycle with plate number JPT183 Motorcycle without pertinent papers.


“We will be intensifying more on the campaign on Illegal drugs.” Provincial Director P/SSUPT Ramon Ochotorena said.
