Pagadian City – In its cam
paign on neutralization of wan
ted persons, Pagadian City Finest’s under the new leadership of Police Chief Inspector Michael Pineda Palermo collared two persons with warrant of arrests recently.
Last April 17, 2009 a certain Danilo Taboada y Morales,51 years old, married, and a resident of Purok Lawis , Sta Lucia, this city was seen at the Agora Gate No.9 ,together with warrant server of the city police and other operatives take no time to arrest said suspect. By virtue of Warrant of Arrest with Criminal Case No. 8393-2K6 issued by Judge Rolando L. Goan of RTC Branch 21, said suspect was arrested for Murder without bail bond recommended is now under temporary detention at the City PNP Locked Up cell awaiting proper turn-over to the court.
On the same date, at 1:00 PM another suspect with warrant was collared at Plaza Luz this city. One Bicbic Tomboc of legal age, a resident of Purok Makabibihag, Sta Lucia District, Pagadian City by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Romeo T. Descallar of Regional Trial Court Branch 19 was arrested for the crime of Frustrated Murder with Criminal case No. 9337-2K9, the suspect has a bail bond recommend in the amount of two hundred thousand pesos for his temporarily liberty and now detained at the City PNP Locked Up cell awaiting for court action.
It may be recalled that the police is now in its campaign against all criminalities as it is order by higher authorities particularly the Provincial Command to fast track their jobs as peace officers.
“We have to prove our worth so that, Pagadianons will trust as their police officers, we have to move on our efforts to make Pagadian a peaceful place to live in” PCI Palermo said.
Meanwhile, the Pagadian City Police is also concentrating on how to solve traffic problems which is now getting bigger everyday as Pagadian is now the Regional Seat of Government. And to discipline erring tricycle and other drivers that frequently violates traffic rules.
“Yes, we are now trying to discipline them by not necessarily apprehending them and issue TOP’s, but we adopt a fatherly punishment by giving them special exercises. We know in fact that issuing TOP’s will hamper their source of income; at three hundred pesos per violation is a loss to their daily income.” PCI Palermo added.
