Ating KOOP adopt new strategy to keep going

Cagayan de Oro City – Mr. Dave Pajaron, Regional Branch Manager of FICCIO in an interview with this writer said that the newly approved and accredited party list for the coming May 2010 election has created a new strategy to keep going in its campaign with their members and supporters what really is the goal and mission of the Ating KOOP Party list.

In his part as the regional coordinator of the party list said that in his own simple ideas conceptualized to make the party movement going has done something new, the said design was intelligently created from a simple but meaningful question: “THE NEED TO SOW THE SEEDS OF CHANGE”

Said design is simply asking questions, Is this doable or Filipinos need miracles?

Pajaron said that thru this design Filipinos can answer direct about it by asking again like Why is country Poor? It can be answered by numbers, and facts however people who are against it would simply say be transparent, again people will surely answers back how transparent?

The Philippines for decades now has been asking why corruption is always in the midst of governance, be it in the local and national scene, people everywhere always crave to stop corruption but how? A new breed of leadership? Then, who are these new leaders? in the coming May election as what the government had been dreaming is the conduct of a full automated system of election, again questions, intrigues, and doubts are raised. What if? Hacking, viruses, are encountered in the process or money to buy votes thru paypal? Huhuh! This is what Ating KOOP wants to change not the traditional way of winning an election.

Ating KOOP is a national sectoral organization whose core ideology is the advocacy and promotion of the interests of the cooperative movement. Like other cooperatives, ATING-KOOP shall advance the interests and welfare of the members of the cooperative movement and fight for other issues that concern the cooperative sector.

Ating KOOP is a political organization that aims to participate in political exercises, especially in national elections. In a sense, ATING-KOOP is similar to other political parties that participate in politics. But unlike ordinary political parties, ATING-KOOP represents the interests of the national cooperative movement.

Pajaron further said that, there is an urgent need for the voice of the cooperative movement to be heard in Congress so that we can participate in the enactment of laws and formulation of policies that directly impact on our sector. For example, we must be active in opposing proposed imposition of taxes on cooperatives. We must also participate in the budgetary allocations and work for funding and other material support from the government for the benefit of the cooperatives.

In his idea and design for discussion thru a massive forum, again he sights the impact of corruption and other socio-civic-economic problems, If people will ask on its impact, the answer is GREED!

Ating KOOP will surely say and recommend once and for all, thus, PEOPLE SHOULD dare to hope, PEOPLE don’t choose transactional leaders and with Ating KOOP vision and goals will led for a national interest over personal interest.

Ating KOOP emphasized on self-reliance, good governance, prudent management of resources, quality service, democratic principles, volunteerism and many others for a dream comes true, a new Nation of Filipinos.
